The city doesn't wait. Light shifts, crowds move, trucks block your view. I aim to capture the essence of a scene in under twenty minutes. Anything longer and I'm inventing details from memory rather than observing them.

Choose One Focal Point

You can't draw all of Manhattan. Pick one building, one storefront, one fire escape. Give it your full attention. Let the rest of the block fall away into suggestion.
